In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Gippsland Business Awards Committee has made the “heartbreaking and very difficult but pragmatic decision” to postpone the 2020 Federation University Gippsland Business Awards.
Gippsland Business Awards Chairperson, Sheridan Bond said while there was a need to continue to celebrate the exceptional businesses that operated in Gippsland, the concern for community health and safety, together with government restrictions, provided an uncertain operating environment for many in the business community.
“The GBA Committee hopes that by postponing this year’s awards, our entrants will instead be able to focus on what’s important at this challenging time,” Ms Bond said.
